SCB Elections – 2015
CCRWAS Candidate for Ward 5
(Note by Vyasamoorthy)
I am happy to inform all of you that a very important unanimous decision was taken in today's (7th December) meeting of CCRWAS held in New Vasavinagar Park. That is, to support the candidature of Sri T Satish Kumar Gupta in the forthcoming SCB elections. The participants in the meeting were from colonies like: Gruhalakshmi, Priya, Brook Bond, Jyothi, Vasavi - (old New and B), Vikrampuri, Brig Thiyagaraj, Indrapuri, Rikmani Devi, AWHO, Gunrock etc. After a long gap luminaries like Sri Vijayakar and Sri WV Ramana - stalwarts during the start up period - were also present.
Most of you may recollect that during last SCB elections we put up two candidates as our representatives - one for Ward 5 and another for Ward 6. Unfortunately both lost but they could get good / decent number of votes. It is imperative that CCRWAS has a supportive, understanding, non-political, active and dynamic youngster in the board representing and pushing our interests. Problems have been aplenty and most colonies are highly disappointed. If something has to be changed, it can be easier if a person known and agreeable to most of us is there in the board. The choice to support Sri Satish was unanimous. If all colonies work in unison victory is certainly ours.
After filing of nominations (& withdrawals if any) is over, CCRWAS will announce our preferred candidates for other wards soon. Minutes of the meeting covering other points will be sent by secretary shortly.
